Agree on who handles each task

I already know this — skip it

What is it?

A task agreement separates the person making a request, the person helping, and the person confirming the result.

Why would I need this?

Practice avoiding duplicate calls and assumptions when several adults are helping.

Show me.

  1. Choose one shared task, such as checking an appointment.
  2. Ask who will make the contact and what help they want.
  3. Agree on what information may be shared and with whom.
  4. Set a check-in so both people know the result and the next step.

Try it.

For an invented appointment inquiry, assign who makes the call, who helps read the instructions, and how they will share the answer.

Watch out for this.

Do not use someone’s account or submit information for them without their permission.

Explain this another way

Focus on one small task: agree on who handles each task. You can practice aloud, on paper, or with someone you trust.

Show me an example

HAB practice example: Alex will make the call. A supporter will help read the letter beforehand. They will review the answer together afterward.
