Make an appointment

I already know this — skip it

What is it?

An appointment is an agreed time to meet or receive a service.

Why would I need this?

Knowing the time, place, and preparation helps you arrive ready.

Show me.

  1. Use the organization’s known contact route.
  2. Say what kind of appointment you need without sharing unnecessary detail.
  3. Confirm date, time zone if relevant, location or video link, and arrival instructions.
  4. Ask what to bring and how to change or cancel. Put a reminder in your own calendar.

Try it.

Practice the call script below using a fictional organization.

Watch out for this.

A request form is not always a confirmed appointment. Check for confirmation.

Explain this another way

An appointment plan answers when, where, and what you need.
